don't flame polish lower playfield plastic window, buy headlight restorer, use that. won't flame polish.
Quoted from brenna98:How are people attaching the plastic palm trees and gorilla figures and hippo figures?
I was thinking to use quake hold putty, but I want to get insite from others.
pretty sure the guy that sells them on here has mounting brackets already attached
Quoted from Robertstone0407:Wayy to low. Put a toothpick in that hole and rest your flipper against that without the rubber on
my congo doesn't have flipper alignment holes, does yours?
Quoted from dudah:Congo is coming to my home shortly! I bought it as a working project, needs a deep shop job. Thinking about making a fluorescent colored plastic for the left ramp cover. Anyone else interested? I'm not home much and it's a bit of a pain to get to the laser cutter I use so gauging interest.
already is a yellow one out there.
Quoted from Platypus:I just finished a complete shop out on Congo including a flipper rebuild. I can hardly catch and cradle the ball now. Do I have the bats set too low? I might try different coil stops to get more travel.
should run straight down from the metal lane guide, you're a little too low still.
Quoted from AlexSMendes:Is anyone still looking for these inlane decals?
how much shipped to u.s.
Quoted from Itty:Well I managed to fix the old one with some JB Weld. Grey no longer flails around in the bottom playfield. We'll see how long that holds. If it breaks, then I guess I'll have to figure out the mail forwarding thing.
pm me, next time I order i'll pick ya one up, you can buy me a $10 item!
Quoted from AlexSMendes:Just came across another Congo spare part I can part way with...
[quoted image][quoted image]
where does that go?
Quoted from mollyspub:Just because...
[quoted image][quoted image]
still wish I could find those inlane plastics!
Quoted from Mitch:These are way better then the stickers.

have you used these? cause their plastics they remake are horrible and usually never match.
Quoted from Mitch:Not a perfect match but I still like them better then stickers.
got any pics of yours installed?
Quoted from Alamo_Pin:As some of you know, www.pinball.center/en/ (a German company) carries many of the plastics for Congo that are hard to obtain anywhere else. But for whatever reason, they do not ship to the U.S.
A pinsider in the UK, Pinhead1982, is willing to place an order for me and then ship them to me in the U.S. Please let me know in the next day or two if you would also like to order any of the plastics.

ive gotten 2 of their plastic sets before, and they ain't worth owning honestly. don't match originals usually.
Quoted from freddy:You may need to shim the weldment . Say like with washers. Or adjust coil strength
thought it was supposed to throw them on the playfield?
Quoted from Moto_bone:Nice! Came out great! I'll add another diamond on the right side plastic.
Thanks for the feedback!
looks killer, nice work.
Quoted from dudah:Whipped these up today at the hackerspace. I had some hand drawn leaves in vector format from tracing the jump plastic. The engraving is fairly deep, I'll see how some black paint sits in there.

Quoted from TommyNYC:Ok thanks for the insight, i was going by pinsiders valuation of between 3600-4200 but i realize those values may not be current.
the Machine looks good. I am considering it looks like a fun machine. Problem is since they are not everywhere its hard for me to try it out to see if its a keeper for me.
like everything else on here, congo has went nuts on pricing. see most sell between 4-4500 currently. glad I got mine before everybody went insane.
Quoted from wamonkey:Pinballbulbs.com
I have it and it is great!
what light mod are you talking about?
Quoted from Mooseman:Has anyone bought one of these?
Anyone feedback on quality?

Quoted from ufiti:Would love to see what it looks like installed, but compared to the original it is definitely missing a ton of detail/texture. Pretty disappointing. Would love to find a better replacement.[quoted image]
yeah, most of pinball center replicas are junk, but I guess beggars cant be choosers.
Quoted from Lemank:Oh no! I’ll find one or get mine fixed somehow. Thank you!
send your board to rob Anthony, he just fixed mine.....same issue.
Quoted from Lemank:I ended up buying a new board from Rottendog. When I replaced it I’m still having the same issue. I have sound and the game plays... still no dmd function. I’ve switched the cables from another game and still nothing. Do you think there may be something wrong with the cpu?
sounds like dmd is bad then.
yup new ones aren't worth a crap, scratch about 10x easier than the originals. I used 3m headlight restorer on mine a few years ago, works great
Quoted from Stebel:Found one in the club thread.
they got them somewhere, i just seen em. let me do some research. maybe pinball inc. im thinking?
