I'm tentatively trading my nice player's quality FH for a really nice Congo. Owner of the congo has sent a few pics and it's very nice from what I can tell and he's told me.
I've gotten very little congo play, but am looking for a nice DMD to trade FH for. I place my funhouse's value at around $3000 or so. I know i'm taking a bit of a monetary loss (maybe) on this trade.
Thoughts? Will I regret the trade? I like FH, but am ready to move on. Both pins work 100%
So I'm wondering how you guys shop up the lower pf window. Mine is pretty clear and i'm happy with it. Should I use some novus on it, or just leave it alone?
What's the best way to clean it IF it already is pretty clear?
Congrats on the pickup Scott.
Here is a link that provides your info. Manuals, rulesheets, etc.
Good luck!
KEV: excuse my computer printing skills, but are these printed on a standard home printer? How do you get those nice laminated ones
Quoted from billsfanmd:I have a very nice Shadow in MD. If someone wants to join Shadow club and let me join congo club shoot me a pm.
Dude I own both. Keep both.
Go bills.
Bad businessman IMO.
Should issue you a refund as the part he's selling doesn't do what it's supposed to.
Unscrupulous if you ask me.
I saw you got a ts. Cool pin. I have both ts and Congo in the line up. Two pins bolted to the floor.
Congrats!
Quoted from The_Director:Funny the TS/Congo talk. I just traded my TS for a Congo. So, I've joined the club here!
Welcome!
I have both TS and Congo. Congo, to me, is the better package. Both amazing pins, but something about congo is just more fun. It's not so serious. And I'm sick of modes

I'd love to be able to look at the directions prior to purchasing just to see how much work I have to do to install. Lazy..
Quoted from Syco54645:Joining this club on saturday weather permitting.
I'd say one of the best clubs to be part of. Congo is amazing.
Love the pin.
Quoted from mulder2010:My map eject just stopped working in the middle of a game. It's solenoid #22, but I don't see what fuse this hooks up to. Any familiar with this & can lend a clue. Thanks
Have you tried testing it in switch test mode?
The switch in my MAP was touchy... meaning the activator arm needed to be adjusted UP so that the ball activated it.
Quoted from mulder2010:The switch works fine. When the ball goes in, it's recognized, but the coil just won't fire.
Does the coil fire in test mode? Go into solenoid test and see if it'll fire there.
Do any other coils not fire? Could this be a fuse?
Double check the wiring to that coil and upstream of it. Also see if that coil plunger moves freely by hand.
I've never done this, but with the leveling concerns of this, and other pins like black rose, I thought of a possible good way to level:
Lay a flat object that is just larger than the window over the window when leveling. Screw the window in while the window is resting up against the book.
Can someone tell me appx how many of gi LEDs to order? I want to just do the gi on the pf.
Thinking warm white or cool white?
Thoughts? Number?
Quoted from beelzeboob:Hey, Blackbeard...I think I have a pantload of unused LEDs. Don't know what you want to get for your Congo, but I think I have a ton of those retro warm whites from Cointaker that I never used if you want to save some money. I'd have to look, though.
Sorry, Just seeing this now.
I am still trying to figure out if I want cool or warm. I'll let you know.
Without looking, I am thinking most gi can be done from unscrewing the socket from underneath as opposed to shopping the whole thing, correct??
Quoted from swinks:It is a pain, but you can unscrew the socket to get to the gi globes
Thanks.
I'd think it's more a pain to have to remove ramps, plastic, etc. !!
