Quoted from Syco54645:Mine came with a post rubber under the jump ramp. The person used too long of a bolt in the post under it and slid half of a post rubber onto it. Works great to protect the fragile jump ramp.
Pics?
Quoted from Syco54645:I unfortunately do not have any pictures of it and would have to remove parts of my game. I am under a tight deadline at work right now but afterwards if you are still interested I can snap a few, just remind me as I have the memory of a sponge (though I check this thread daily, or feel free to pm me).
a pic would be awsome eventually. even from the top through the clear jump ramp (if that's possible.) I'll try to remind you in the future.
Quoted from Syco54645:Hopefully these pictures explain it. All I have is my cell phone. http://imgur.com/a/3GXaE
perfect thanks
map is very cool. Only thing I would add is the moving target skill shot goes up 5 million every time you hit it so with a bunch of locked balls and a few extra balls it's value can get over 30 million quickly.
Can someone post a picture of the wiring to the main power box in the front right corner of the cab. The metal box with the 2 connectors on top that the main power switch is attached to.
Quoted from GRB1959:Here are a couple of photos for you from my Congo.

Thanks! Is that an original north american or a reimport? Its looks mint!!!
Wow just wow!!! If you ever want to sell ( which i doubt you will) i know it would be high dollar but id want it! Beautiful machine
Quoted from Chosen_S:So I found this... It's amazing, the poster would be perfect for a translite
But to acquire the poster, all 3 skateboards have to be purchased.
What do yall think?

Replace creature with congo and I'd be in for a translight like that.
Quoted from pinball_customs:Hey gang, I have 4 sets of Congo 3D inlane plastics ready to ship.
Just got a set last week look amazing.!
Quoted from AlexSMendes:Does anyone have it installed? If so, can you share some pics?
image_63119_1_(resized).jpg
Where can you buy those?
Plastic protectors finally being made for this game !!!
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/does-anybody-make-a-congo-protector-set/
You can also get matching plastic for the inlane guides from a company in europe or 3d sculpted ones from brock in canada.

Quoted from monkeyboypaul:Noob question:
Should the gray gorilla head flasher flash each time the flippers and slings solenoids fire? I put a purple flasher in there and that's the behaviour I'm seeing.
Mine does this too
Quoted from Djshakes:Speaker panel
Looks like your missing your decals that go onto of the metal upkicker for the jump ramp / Amy ramp. Pps sells them. The 2 on the right in the pic
Quoted from bigd1979:Get the mantis volcano vuk so then u will never have worry about the welds breaking
This 100% should be done to every congo!
Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:buy a new board and be done with it!
Why he is doing a great job and it will be way better then a aftermarket board when it's done. Id take a professionally repaired original board over a repo any day.
Quoted from DEN:My Congo is NOT done yet, but playable, what a game.
Uploading some progress pics as promissed.
LEDs are with 4sport. Pics are not great in lightning but in real life, it lights up my pinroom. Green everywhere, im playing in total dark room and its really well lit.
Mannnn whats up with that backgroundmusic and callouts, great and underrated game for sure. Love this pin.
Looking good but you need to replace that round satellite target with the proper rectangle one.
Also blue diamonds in the inserts? Why? Diamonds are white and look way better with cool white leds.
Quoted from lpeters82:Yeah, I just don't hit them all that often. Then again, I rarely specifically aim for them. I'm assuming there is not a setting to reduce the number of times you have to collect the set.
I only aim for them when 2 are already lit. And then I'm trying g to Glace off the side into a shot I want.
Quoted from Pinhead1982:Just finished changing out the crap LEDs in my Congo with Comet ones!
Added a few Trees as well.
Green gi hmm
Quoted from stef34:honestly i really hate those one it doesn't match the graphic theme on the PF
I prefer mirror blades.
Quoted from mrgregb123:These games come up surprisingly rarely for sale. Anyone buy one recently? What did you pay? Condition? Curious to know.
There wasn't a lot made and many of them were parted out in the 90s so the boards could be used in other games that earned more on location.
Most I've seen now are 4k to 5k in good condition.
Quoted from Tsskinne:Can anyone in the club hook up a friend with a decal for the left ramp?
Contact starship fantasy they might be able to help you.
Is the top of your volcano vuk broken. Welds breaking are common so most people upgrade to the mantis vuk
Quoted from billsfanmd:who sells the lane guide stickers that cover the steel lane guides?
These are way better then the stickers.
http://www.pinball.center/en/shop/pinball-parts/playfield-parts/plastics/3956/lane-plastics-for-congo
Quoted from jawjaw:Grape ape? I know, clown puke police will write me a ticket. Tried some things but wasn't happy with it.
What about blue to match the blue gorilla insert
Quoted from Yesh23:It looks like the top of the lip is busted off. I couldn't find in the manual how the above assembly is installed but if I click on the link, it looks like it's straight up and down and doesn't have a lip in the picture.
[quoted image]
Your VUK is destroyed and it broke the top of the volcano too. My volcano is broken too but I have the new mantis vuk works awsome.

Planatary pinball but not cheap
Quoted from Yesh23:I didn't seem to find it on Planetary's website, any other ideas?
a quick google search " congo lower pinball decals " found this
Quoted from Yesh23:Thank you Mitch for the find. Unfortunately they're out of stock right now
Damn, sorry I didnt notice that. I'd send planatary pinball a email see of they are making more maybe?
Quoted from ccbiggsoo7:have you used these? cause their plastics they remake are horrible and usually never match.
Not a perfect match but I still like them better then stickers.
Quoted from rubberducks:Really, there needs to be a clear plastic replacement for the top piece of metal, above the metal guide rail. Unfortunately, none of the protector kits have it.
With it, light from the GI would illuminate the plastic (and the area generally) much better.
Just leave the top metal guide off and replace with the plastic. The bottom metal guide has a hole in it for the light.
Quoted from Bok013:Hello. I am still looking for some Congo play field decals. I have bad flipper wear down near the CONGO and Africa graphic. I’ve posted here about it before but never got what I needed. Figured I’d refresh the post. Let me know. Or if there is a place making repro Playfields. Thanks!
I had one like this before. Nobody make a decal or playfield for this game.
Keep checking ebay for a used playfield. That's what I had to do
Quoted from monkeyboypaul:Congo does have a reasonable amount of fading in the GI.
Go incandescent, or LED + GI OCD. The middle ground isn’t great.
Or just go in the menu and turn off gi fading
Quoted from monkeyboypaul:Also a possibility.
Maybe unplug the DMD while you’re at it, prevent any temptation to buy a ColorDMD.
The gi still works fine just doesn't dim. Totally different from being unplugged and not working.
Talk about a dumb comparison. I get it you like to spend extra money so you lights dim a bit.
With a larger collection it's not worth the waste of money for a bit of dimming.
Quoted from per3per3:I'm hearing a loud buzzing sound when the lock post above the upper left flipper is up...the one that stops the ball during Amy mode and when you're playing in the lower playfield. Not sure what the sound is but haven't experienced it before. Is the coil that powers the post going bad? The post functions properly
All 3 I've owned have done this
Quoted from Skyemont:Whats the going price for a Congo? Led's, titan rubbers, pinstadium...
5k +/-
Quoted from ThaBini:Hello guys,
Anyone got pin2DMD rom for congo ? or had any experiences with pin2dmd ?
Best regards
Just go color dmd. Way better.
Quoted from lordloss:I don't have rails, I am building up a Congo from scratch and have most parts already.
You can see my test fit into my test cabinet. Doesn't look like much now, but it will be a full Congo this year. Will be buying a new cabinet once the pf is wired.[quoted image]
I have a decent used volcano I would sell. Has a broke chip at the top like most but they are repairable
Quoted from king_pin:Joined the club today!
[quoted image]
That's my old Congo. It's supposed to go back to me after marcus was done with it , but he always goes back on his word.
Hope you enjoy it.
