I have been talking to some people that want to sell a Congo. The machine is in really good condition. They have been looking at prices on the internet and think it is worth $1650. There is no way I will pay that for it. I was thinking of offering $1,000-1,100 for the pin. Is this a fair price or is it really worth the $1,650?

The price guide says $1,300 range, but if I have to go that high I think I will wait, save a little more, and find BSD, JD, TOM, or the Shadow.

Just did a quick search on Mr.pinball - one for 1400 and one for 1900. they are probably not way off base at 1650 - but I bet most go for 1300 - 1400.

I have nothing to base this on but I think this one is going to rise in value soon- its actually a good game and has a fun layout - and seems to be drawing more interest.

$1100 would be a steal for a really nice Congo. $1300-$1500 is a more realistic price depending on condition.

Some of the popularity might be do to PAPA 13 where it was in the tournament - prior to that I had never played one - and I actually grew to like it - kicked my butt, but I liked it.
I would say 1300-1500 tops, You wont find a ToM for that much I can almost promise that, but the others are out there.
