I hope its not Walking Dead like Mustang.

Would The Soprano's be the closet Stern pin released to TWD? If it is its going to be interesting to compare that Gomez design to Borg. Of course the only Soprano's pin I played was at the SFGE and it had weak flippers so i didnt play it much.

If Stern doesn't get 500 orders for Mustang LE's I assume they still have to make 500?

Quoted from jeffgoldstein2:

They don't have to do anything. If they aren't selling why would they invest more money into the game.

The LE plaque says # of pin\500 . Wouldn't that be a lie if 500 don't exist?

Quoted from Captain_Kirk:

That would just make the few that were made even more valuable.
How would the customer be harmed by that?

If I paid for an Mustang LE (i'd have to be rich, nuts or both) it would be nice to know if less then 500 were made to your point. It can be a double edge sword though, as knowing less were made due to low demand might not make it more valuable.

thanks for the reply, its definitely an interesting one.

I assume The Hobbit & TWD LE will be similar priced. For The Hobbit you get full motion video of the movies. With TWD you get some red dots. Its to bad they couldn't take TWD theme which is interesting and really make it interactive with scenes from the tv show.

My lord, where are the playfield pics for this game.

#511 9 years ago

I guess they learned from Mustang.

Quoted from thedarkknight77:

Stern will make premiums if there is demand.........Period!

#513 9 years ago

I wonder if instead of Stern buying the rights to use a license if it was the other way around with Mustang as in Ford writing them a big check.

Quoted from thedarkknight77:

What they learned from Mustang was........Make a half fast title with bad music, a limited reach theme and be prepared to sell a limited amount of games. I have no idea how they thought about Mustang, but they clearly didn't check with 74% of their buyers, i.e. International and USA Home use.

Mustang was Pro & Premiums then the "Top Secret" LE last.

As a future Hobbit owner, I would think you could see that not having a Premium is an option. Doesn't Jersey Jack just make "Standard" & "LE's" of their games? Last i checked no Premium option.

Quoted from Hazoff:

There will be a premium for sure. I thought the last few Sterns were all this way with the Pro's and LE's first then Premiums not too far behind. At least ST was that way.

vid1900, thanks for making me almost spit out coffee with your comment about your grandma collecting Gelatin boxes.

Quoted from vid1900:

Of course someone will always collect something (my grandma used to collect Gelatin boxes for some reason)
But what I'm saying is that this, right now, is the peak.
Enjoy.
