Way2wyrd shot me a txt a couple days ago asking if I wanted to go on a warehouse raid in a little town called Taylor. Unfortunately I could go until today, so likely some of the cool parts including about half the pins were already gone - but we did have a bit of adventure and didn't come away empty handed.
First off, the city has asked the owner to get rid of the building - here you can see why. It was not the safest feeling place in the world, despite the awesome corner piece.

Lots of vids, pool tables, and jukeboxes in addition to a few pins, candy machines (with candy!), and cigarette machines which hadn't been used in years - the latest date we could find on anything was 1991.
The most complete pinball was this old wedgehead - forgive us if we left it.

Unfortunately most of the vids had damaged cabinets from sitting directly on the floor with some flooding here and there. Tons of Jukes available from the 60s' to 70's including a really cool wall mount rock ola ?1484? that sits on a stand. Jeff claimed that one but we couldn't get the deal done as the man in charge wanted a little more than we thought it worth.

I brought home one Rowe juke - a CMM1 that looks to be complete and fairly clean as well as a few old gumball machines. Jeff brought home a cabinet including the relay board form a Drop-a-card which is in great condition. If someone nearby needs one let him know before it become our gottlieb parts source! He also took home this cool machine, a 1980 Space Encounters - It is in great shape, hopefully he can post more pics.
There were some nice pinball cabinets that we just didn't have the desire to take, but they should be there for another day or two if someone wants them. No glass or playfields.

After all the loading we went across the street to one of my favorite restaurants in the area, Vencil Mares' Taylor Café which is a long running BBQ joint. Vencil has been cooking here since he came back from WWII so it is awesome to still share the space with him. Check it out if you are ever in the area -
