I start with the playfield. I always clear with Varathane after touch ups and it gives me 3 weeks for other stuff while the final coat is curing. Strip the cabinet of all metal, do touch ups on that next, or motor board your choice. Seems logical to me, but you may have other reasons to go a different order.
