    I work on a lot of EM projects and by far the most frequent coils that need replacing are bell, chime, & knocker coils, followed by score reel coils, and occasionally relay coils. Typically this is caused by a stuck 1 or 10 point switch, locking on the coils until they melt. Proper fusing should prevent this... but you know... people.
