Spent the last few days wiring up these playfields to hang in my new shop with the forthcoming "PFSequence" I'm currently developing. I hope this will be well suited for the hobbyist who would like to re-use their old playfields as arcade wall art (or coffee table, or bar top or wherever your imagination takes you). Since the Yoppsicle lays flat against the playfield, this allows for easy hanging of the PF nearly flat against the wall, with plenty of brightness for both inserts and GI lighting (I did use Yoppsicles for GI lighting and it works well in this instance, although I still don't recommend them for GI in an actual machine)
After I get all my supplies in I'll be packaging them up as kits for anyone interested.
The planned kit will feature:
A PFSequencer with power supply.
Dozens of animation sequences.
Speed adjustable.
Will include a panel of 50 Yoppsicles in either the warm or cool variety for wiring and mounting underneath the playfield.
All wiring needed to hook everything up.
Instructional video on Youtube.
Hookup WILL require soldering.
