    Wow, hard to imagine comet without Art

    Art, I hope you get well and the docs are able to fix you up so you can keep doing what you love. You are certainly one of the bright lights in the pinball community

    Best wishes for what happens next and if it comes to it, for whomever is able to take on the reigns and fill some mighty fine shoes.

    Threaded lenses sound like a fascinating idea.

    If you really wanted to, it sounds like you would only have to make a handful of bases for the different LED/SMD types, and then offer all sorts of different/crazy lenses separately.

    Game vibration would come into play, though, so maybe include a small tube of epoxy or something so folks can glue the lens securely when they're ready.
