A lot of people put them in the rear. In the back board area to light up the darkness back there. Looks great. Rilerman did a good job with his.

Not Comets but Comets do the same job. They are also very easy to install i have tested them in the past on a few other machines.

What kind of setup is in JD's shooter lane?

These are CTs 7 LED 6v strips in the back (red and blue), but they are the same as comet. Camera washes it out a bit, looks much better in person.

If a plastic has only one or two bulbs under it and they still don't light the plastic fully take one out and replace with a 3 or 7 led strip. You can stick a strip on the back side of a ramp to light something behind it, the ramp hides the strip if it's metal and it mounts where ya just can't mount a spot light. Just look for anyplace that could use more light and you can usually figure out where to mount a strip to help. It helps to have a strip in hand when looking for places. I've mounted many strips in some pretty crazy places on my games. Sometimes using stainless steel strips to form mounting points.

If you've seen Mustang you'll notice that this plastic is almost completely dark, with one 7 led strip it's lit perfectly now.
