howdy folks,new to the site.read just about everything!
my name is Glenn and I am getting back into the pin thing(trying not to get TOO carried away)
the dummys' speech is very garbled on my COMET,and I do not know a whole lot about it.all other sounds are fine.any suggestions?

Synthesized speech wasn't what it is today back in the 80's. If the other sounds are OK then it is probably not your sound ROM. You might try a new speaker if it's really old. I put one in my Medusa and it made a big difference. It's also an 80's machine with speech.
We're always glad to get a new member and pinball enthusiast. BTW that's a fun collectible machine.
