So, the 3 big questions still need answers.....

    Price?

    Work on new Sterns?

    Work on Sega jumbo DMD?

    Thanks,
    EV

    Quoted from PersonX99:

Nice! Like it. Would like a blue dmd for Tron, but I don't like the grid lines and they really show up (even with gel). This sounds like a decent alternative.

Stern is creating a blue dmd upgrade for
    Xmen tron avengers ect.

Seeing the new display in action at TPF gives a very different impression than looking closely at still frame screenshots. Overall, it looks pretty fantastic. Some things look a bit odd with the interpolation, but the rest of it looks cool enough that its not worth nit picking about.

So will this run full colour games as well or is it intended as a different option (single colour with scan lines etc.) to the game specific products?

I prefer the original dots, I think going by these pictures.

It is very different looking in person and hard to capture how it looks accurately.

I played the TZ at the TPF and I like the black and white but still prefer the dot style.
The Whitewater and STTNG Color DMD looks great!

How would colorized SM look on HD? Would it look like actual movie clips?

I was gonna ask the same thing.
If it does look like the movie clips that will improve a lot on recent sterns as most if they have a bunch if clips from movies/tv shows
