I like this idea... I too haven't been a fan of the sigma resolution modes.
For me; I wanted a dot + smoothing mode. IE have the DMD dot still there... colored... but have it "fade" to black in a square pattern like you showed. Maybe round... maybe square. not sure.

Randy - is the generic SIGMA ROMs going to get this same options?
As you know I've been running my Stern ST LE in Dots mode because I didn't like the full rez mode... I'm thinking I might want to do Tiles.

There is still motivation as I'd like to tie mods to the modes; but the reality - I'm only one guy... and I really need a second set of eyes looking at the problem. There has to be something simple I'm missing.
