Jurassic Park has sweet dots, color would be amazing

just envision the scene of the t-rex eating the goat in glorious color...

Jurassic park, cause a guy can have delusional dreams

1 week later
#420 8 years ago
Quoted from Gorno:

I am not sure if TFTC is even on Color DMD's radar. But, I am wonder if they would use ChadH's recent code update or would they use a official rom? I would hope they used Chad's because the new code is far superior. That would be a deal breaker for me to have to go back to the old code.

sames thoughts on JP

#434 8 years ago

they posted a pic on facebook with a star trek character saying that the displays are almost back in stock and a new game on the way...

way to obvious to use that pic if star trek was next, or is it?

#439 8 years ago

JP has some sweet dots. that trex eating the goat would look so bad ass in color. but ive said this many times ;P

#448 8 years ago
Quoted from PinballManiac40:

If so
DATA EAST (10 games)
The adventures of rocky and bullwinkle and Friends; Guns N' Roses; Jurassic Park; Last Action Hero ;Lethal Weapon 3 ;Maverick; Star Wars; Tales from the Crypt; The Who's Tommy Pinball Wizard; WWF Royal Rumble
I have a Rocky and Bullwinkle and JP I would like to put a ColorDMD into.

maverick has the oversized display, probably cross that off right meow

#455 8 years ago
Quoted from PinballManiac40:

I wouldn't say scratch off any of the oversized DMD games. All in due time.

Probably a safe bet it's not the first data east, wouldn't you say? I'll bet ya a color DMD this release isn't Maverick

#462 8 years ago
Quoted from luvthatapex2:

what about williams slugfest? it has a dmd!

#800 7 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

33% more accurately, but I would buy one (assuming I still one the game when it comes out)

I have a slugfest if you want it in part of a certain deal

and i agree it would be good in color

#806 7 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

sorry I was not clear. I already own a slugfest. I would drop in colorDMD, assuming I still own the game when it comes out. Slugfest is one of the few I would sell. I have it all pimped out and on route for the baseball season, but may sell it after the season is done.

nice, do you stock it with cards to dispense? Im taking mine to the RMPS and got a box of 1991 fleer baseball cards to dispense for the weekend

#813 7 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

yes, cards for sure! All from the 90s to be period correct.
Heads up that you need the non-waxy type cards. The upper deck type are too slippery and dont feed well. Also another tip is to put a thin layer of rubber cement on the wheel in your card dispenser and let it dry. It will add just enough tack to help feed cards better.

i replaced the o rings and have cards I dispense in my home without any issues so far. I'll test this box to make sure they work, thats a good point. I'll def do the rubber cement thing as this will be the most this game with have to dispense since I got it. Yeah, I wasnt about to put new cards in it, i picked 1991 since thats when the game was made.

I think with color dots it would def grab the attention of kids to try it out on location, would modernize it drastically.

#829 7 years ago
Quoted from PinballManiac40:

Anyone have an original Slugfest flyer? I'm curious to know if it is labeled as a pinball machine or not.
Internet pinball database does not seem to list it as a pinball nor an arcade game.
http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=3281
Serial number database seems to label it as a pinball.
http://www.ipsnd.net/View.aspx?id=3281

heres a flyer you can zoom in on and read. doesnt look like it says one way or the other

ebay.com link: 1991 WILLIAMS SLUGFEST FLYER

still not on the list! shame shame

the flyer does say it is a collectors edition so my price just went up!

#831 7 years ago
Quoted from DCFAN:

Isn't it a pitch and bat game rather than a traditional pinball machine?

Yeah, just hopeful an enthusiast decides to tackle the project at some point.

#833 7 years ago
Quoted from DCFAN:

Ok, I added it to the list at the bottom for non-traditional pinball games.

Sweet! Thanks for your consideration
