As Randy mentioned in the release thread, the LE (DP) stuff is in there. One rom for either game.
Quoted from Dmod:Regarding the blue in TRON, you'll be able to judge better next week when Mark live-streams TRON and additional gameplay videos surface.
The TRON preview video admittedly contains a lot of blue because we decided to highlight the video sequences with colors driven by the source material. I think the saturation of the blue is higher in the video than on the actual display. It's hard to represent this accurately and the colors are never really the same as they appear in life.
However if you take a look at the TRON playfield/cabinet/translite, it's a very blue game with punches of color throughout. I think this is what you'll notice during gameplay. I own TRON myself, provided feedback to Mark during development, and believe the result is a very good fit to the game.
Great response, and I'm excited to see more. I wasn't trying to come off rude, but just first opinion. You all make exceptional products and respect is due for the hard work on all accounts.
I just know that of my close local pin friends and myself, the tron owners are also mostly stle owners, and that makes the blue even more apparent.
And on that Segway........ Come on Star Trek!
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Pins needing ColorDMD updating. Avengers, TZ and Tron removed.

Ive been enjoying my TRONLE in color for a year now. Just one color at a time. Come Friday, all I have to do is download the "rom" and bam colorized. Thanks, COLORDMD.
Sorry to ask if it's been covered but I've really missed the colourdmd party, so I'm arriving a little late. Can Whitestar games be fully colourised now? If so who do I need to speak to about taking on Goldeneye? That's if it's not already being worked on!?

PM sent.
Ride the "Hurricane"....-can't be that hard to color this one? Gilligan's Island needs another shout out. "Skipper I'm afraid"
Sigma display works very well in Sega Whitestar games. I brought Twister to TPF 2015 to demo the Sigma display. HiRes with light blue in Twister was killer!!
Color is Awesome but even a Sigma display on a single color is better than orange while you wait for it to be done in Color.
I am not sure if TFTC is even on Color DMD's radar. But, I am wonder if they would use ChadH's recent code update or would they use a official rom? I would hope they used Chad's because the new code is far superior. That would be a deal breaker for me to have to go back to the old code.
I asked the same question about TFTC when the new code came out and it will work with a Color DMD if it comes out. Animations are still the same and if assume if the additional text that pops up with the new code was not colorized it would just show up as white text. I wouldn't know that part for sure though.

sames thoughts on JP

hi,
do you really think that Sega, Gottlieb, Capcom, Alvin, DE games could have a chance to see a color dmd one day?
i have the feeling that the priority is Stern and B/W games.. if however games of other manufacturers could be in colordmd plans
Quoted from RDReynolds:Really hoping DE games do - I've got a R&B and SW just waiting for 'em!
Both of those will be sweet !!

I don't see AMH from Spooky on here. Also, you're missing the early, half-height DMD's from Data East. Any reason why, with ColorDMD's ability to shift the contents on the screen up or down, that those half-height DMDs can't be supported some day? Is there another physical or technical reason that makes it impossible?

Same here.

I see that the ColorDMD issue has already been addressed/discussed for AMH. I am going to leave it off the list since it is a boutique game and there are only 150 so demand would be much less than 150.
Also, I don't see any reason to include the half DMD games. I seriously doubt ColorDMD would consider working on those titles until the list of full sized DMD games is quite small which should be in about three to five years.
I don't know if there is room for an LCD display to fit back there. That is something Randy could look at when he has time when the full-sized DMDs are almost finished.
Quoted from colonel_caverne:do you really think that Sega, Gottlieb, Capcom, Alvin, DE games could have a chance to see a color dmd one day?
Yep. All in due time ColorDMD is looking for people to actively colorize DE/Sega games.
Sega games with a fluorescent bulb in the backbox, Twister for example, just needs a new set of mounting holes in the mounting bracket to fit. I have installed a Sigma display for demo at TPF 2015 and set for light blue and HiRes and it looked awesome.
Quoted from colonel_caverne:i have the feeling that the priority is Stern and B/W games.. if however games of other manufacturers could be in colordmd plans
I wouldn't say priority is given, but it would be nice if all the rest of the 34 newer games did get done sooner than later. Just need people to volunteer to do the other titles. They can only handle so many new people colorizing as it is a "training period" to learn to color on the fly. New Mounting hardware also has to be made first for the display to fit into the DE/Sega/other games that have a light board in the backbox or other mounting challenges. The display panel will interfere with some of the flashers/lamps in many games.

what about the best gottlieb like Stargate or the best capcom like Pinball magic or BBB? i think it is a problem of rentability and number of games producted...what i can understand.

More hardware mounting issues to be resolved with Capcom games, for sure since there are three boards mounted on the huge mounting bracket behind the DMD. Must have patience since it would be nice if all the rest of the 34 newer B/W and Stern games did get done sooner than later.
I have a Stargate, but I hadn't ever looked to see if there are mounting issues other than what the DE games would have because of the lamp board. For sure we would need a power adapter cable that would need to ship with the display. I hope there will not be too much of a power consumption issue in Gottlieb games with a ColorDMD.

Ehh. That's like saying there is no reason to list the Alvin G games because they are obscure crap.
I say put the half-height on the list....unless there is a physical reason why they will never work.
they posted a pic on facebook with a star trek character saying that the displays are almost back in stock and a new game on the way...
way to obvious to use that pic if star trek was next, or is it?
Quoted from InfiniteLives:way to obvious to use that pic if star trek was next, or is it?
If he's using it as a red herring, he's playing a dangerous game. ST fans would create a formidable mob.

If you want to do the research to identify which games are half DMD then I will add them to the list.
I believe Checkpoint was the first.
Quoted from monkeyboypaul:Seems to suggest a Data East title, annoyingly, given I've a sigma display sat patiently in ST.
Data from Star Trek pointing east as someone said on Facebook. That would be great news if it is a Data East game as it would be mean another manufacturer is getting colored games.

Sure.
Checkpoint, TMNT, Batman, Star Trek, Hook.

This would make my year if it was TFTC! And send me into debt...

If so
DATA EAST (10 games)
The adventures of rocky and bullwinkle and Friends; Guns N' Roses; Jurassic Park; Last Action Hero ;Lethal Weapon 3 ;Maverick; Star Wars; Tales from the Crypt; The Who's Tommy Pinball Wizard; WWF Royal Rumble
I have a Rocky and Bullwinkle and JP I would like to put a ColorDMD into.

maverick has the oversized display, probably cross that off right meow
Oh, I know what it is
but not saying. Will not take long I don't think. Gonna be another great year for coloring titles!
