I HIGHLY recommended coupling the LED display with the pinball life glare film. Then turn the LED brightness all the way up and BAM amazing blacks and contrast ratio. Off pixels vanish. Gap between pixels is invisible. Not to mention no reflection off the glass.

You can buy $5 worth of black adhesive weatherstripping from lowes and build a foam gasket to fill the gap pretty easily.
