Ordered! This is so exciting! CV is one of the games that we were doubtful we'd get in color...but one that would benefit the most from it with the DMD being in the players line of sight the whole time, and animation like the Ball Lock that's "interactive" with the ball. Thank you ColorDMD for being awesome!!!!

Nope. You have to lift out the playfield, remove the plastic over the dmd and pull out the wood panel that the dmd is attached to. To ipdate, I just held the wood panel - my girlfriend turned the game on, I updated the rom while holding the panel - when it was done, she turned the game off and remounted the dmd. I'm sure there will be code updates - this game is a bit more of a pain in the ass to update than a typical game....but it's worth it!!!

No grids!!! It's perfect like an old school Dmd. Clear shield is all you need.

The alternative is monochrome. I'm sure they'll eventually change it or make an alternate rom. In the meantime, it's incredible.

The CV Color DMD went back in the box and is waiting on the advertising removal upgrade, otherwise it's getting mailed back for good.
It has to be returned in original condition, so it made no sense to keep it in the game.
