I cannot get the DMD to load the color file. I have tried two different USB drives, different formats (Fat, DOS, etc). Does anyone have any tips for me? I'm usually pretty good at this
Marc
Quoted from Dmod:Drive must be formatted as MS-FAT32. Make sure the file is saved exactly as "chroma.rom" with no added characters (ex. chroma(1).rom) or hidden extensions (ex. chroma.rom.rom).
PROG LED should blink at power-up. Then blink once more upon insertion/detection of the USB drive.
Then press and hold the left-most button for 5 seconds. LED should blink 5x before going solid to begin the download.
If the PROG LED starts blinking a repeated error code at any stage, you'll need to reset power to clear the error and install again.
So, on Mac, formatting as FAT isn't enough, you have to show the options in Disk Utility and save as a Master Boot Record. Did that and it worked like a champ. WHAT AN UPGRADE!
Yeah, I gotta say, the LEDs are outstanding! Very pleased with the purchase. I now have color in all but 1 DMD (come on Stern Star Trek)

Quoted from PinballManiac40:I just updated my CV and something didn't go as planned.
