I moved an early production colordmd from an Addams Family to my Indiana Jones. No issues in the AF.

Seams to work fine but on occasion it will go black during a game or during attract mode. Rebooting the game makes it work again.

I do have a topper tapped into the 12v on the wpc board. I installed the topper the same time I put the colordmd in.

Anyone have a similar issue and what did you do?

I may not have the latest update. I will check when I get home. I will update if I don't.

Ok updated to 3.4 and changed contrast and backlight values. Mine were one higher on each. Let's see what happens.

Swapped the IJ color dmd out with a brand new color dmd that was supposed to go in my TZ (since it was having issues in my TZ). Left it on for about 20 hours the last two days and played a number of games. No issues now.

Put the early production color dmd (from IJ) in my TZ and appears to be working OK.

I had a garbled/noisy display. I changed the ribbon cable that didn't seem to help. So I just decided to swap displays between machines and both working now.

Yes, the ribbon from the dmd to the board is the one I replaced. I had a spare so I thought it couldn't hurt.
