GAME 93 IS UNDER INVESTIGATION!

ColorDMD is excited to announce that CSI is the 93rd pinball machine to be supported by the ColorDMD multicolor pinball display platform!

CSI was colored by Eric Priepke and is his 21st title completed as lead developer! Thanks for CSI also go out to Phoebe Smith for her assistance with the full-motion video sequences.

CSI follows Eric's work on Wheel of Fortune and Big Bang Bar completed earlier this year. Since his first 2015 release for Flintstones, Eric has contributed an opus of titles and includes greats like The Walking Dead, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Baywatch!

Besides coloring games, Eric is well known for his original work on Cactus Canyon Continued, a complete rewrite and extension of the original game rules for the P-ROC system. He also completed and demonstrated a one-of-a-kind (unreleased) rewrite for Iron Man on P-ROC that incorporated an LCD display and full HD video. This year Eric will be returning to his roots and helping to contribute code for an exciting new project at a major pinball manufacturer! They've assembled an impressive team and we're eager to see what they come up with!

The ColorDMD for CSI pinball machines shares the same easy-to-install hardware platform as previous ColorDMD releases. All displays ship with the factory installed SIGMA ROM that supports WPC, WPC95, SAM, Whitestar, and SPIKE platforms. Multicolor operation is enabled through download and installation of a game-specific color ROM file, available from our site. ROMs can be changed at any time, allowing use with any of our supported titles.

Thank you, dmod for this release. I recently purchased CSI: Crime Scene Investigation LED ColorDMD. I am trying to visualize the installation of the new display with the bracket type from the previous DMD. It would appear that I would need to re-use the existing bracket and use the hex spacers to seat the display a little closer to the wood speaker panel/acrylic display cover and then add something to blackout the backboard glow coming through the edges. Looking at the instructions for LED, it doesn't indicate how to reattach it all. I looked at the LCD version's instructions and it shows the bracket type I have. Does the LED version require the bracket from the ColorDMD store? Any helpful hints for hardware for CSI LED would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! I can't wait to see it all lit up.
