Probably that the LCD looks better.

Or that he thought the LED looked better.

Seriously, there is no right answer its 50 50. The led is brighter and cheaper, the LCD has more options.

LCD provides options to enlarge the dots/tiles etc to give you more options.

LED will probably be brighter, it sure is with W/B, but can be turned down.
