Quoted from Defender:Just ordered mine.... Now please do Family Guy and my collection will all be ColorDMD'd
TZ will complete my keeper line-up Invisiglass and ColorDMD conversion.
Quoted from scampcamp:Is there an option to make it black both black & white or color?
yes
Quoted from herg:I was just watching the video again, and there's a few scenes that I can't imagine how hard it was to detect and color properly.
At 0:39, separating that floating background from the text in the foreground.
At 0:57, all that shrapnel with talking Tina in the background.
I'm super excited about this one. Great job, guys!
There was no color detection, it was all "painted" pixel by pixel to the designers/graphics interpreter for the first time for this.
Quoted from herg:I think you're misunderstanding my comment. I meant they have to figure out which part of the image is text and which part is imagery on the fly, then apply the color to it. Since the text is dynamic, they can't just detect a frame and apply a static color mask to it.
No easy task or there would more games available. I imagine colorDMD will be cranking games for a while.
