"We've been posting photos and previews of few upcoming products that will be demonstrated this weekend at the California Extreme show in Santa Clara:

MONSTER BASH!!! Coloring is complete for the seventh multicolor title for the ColorDMD platform. Monster Bash is targeted for our next production release in mid-late August.
SIGMA FOR STERN!!! We recently revealed photos of a prototype SIGMA display for Stern games operating in both SAM and WhiteStar games. The new Stern displays are targeted for release in the September/October time frame. "

So would the sigma display set to RED look better on a recent Stern like XMEN than the current DMD? or BLUE on TRON?

I'd say it's personal preference. I like the look of the ColorDMD better, and you won't have gridlines. I'm not a huge fan of the HD upscaling mode, or at least not in the games I've tried it in, so I'd be leaving it in dots mode. I'll probably pick up one for TRON rather than buying a blue LED display.

Finally some good news for me too! I have a MB being restored right now, so this will be a great addition.

Yeah! I have room for around 8-10 games, and that's probably one of the last three or four that will go. I really like that it's in such great original condition. If you ever want to come visit it and play it though, let me know. You're more than welcome.

Is there a different sigma for stern now or are the new ones interchangeable between a wpc game and a stern game?

The way I understood ColorDMD's answer was the hardware would be interchangeable. That said, I wouldn't buy one now with that assumption unless they verified it.
