Women's Match Play Tournament stream today from 1p-5p Mountain. https://www.twitch.tv/coloradopinball
In preparation of our upcoming broadcast of the North American Championship, Women's World Championship and Pin-Masters tournaments (March 5-8 at Game Exchange) we're streaming a women's match play tournament today live from Game Exchange from 1p-5p. This should give us a good dry run with all our new broadcast equipment as well as get our team of volunteers some hands on experience. So once Dead Flip's Rick and Morty stream is over, why not tune in to Colorado Pinball for some tournament fun?

I've been meaning to reach out to all the lady 'ballers in Colorado for quite a while and I'm thrilled to be finally following through on that today. Lots of growth and changes are happening for women's competitive events and I will be sharing the details with the Colorado players at today's event. For those not attending but curious about these changes, here's the deal:
IFPA-endorsed women's state championships (WSC) are now a thing and qualifying for your state is happening now through December 31st. The WSC will consist of 16 players: the top 8 women in each state from the open rankings and the top 8 from women's events. The WSC will be held on the Sunday immediately following the State/Provincial Championship Series. All tournaments will be held on the same day in order to build momentum and excitement as well as limit participation to one event.
IFPA Post about these changes: https://www.ifpapinball.com/announcing-upcoming-ifpa-changes-related-to-womens-pinball/
--> NOTE: Not all states and provinces have championships. For a WSC to happen in your area, someone must notify the IFPA that they are willing to run the event. If you want to be that someone, email the IFPA women's board: [email protected] . If you're not that someone but want your state to participate, check in with your IFPA State Rep and let them know you want this to happen. Find your state rep here: https://www.ifpapinball.com/nacs/2019/reps.php
This may be dated info but as of 3 weeks ago, the following states/provinces do not have a WSC planned:
Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan and Yukon.
