nope. Said black and white sigma looks good for TZ but color would look cool also. TZ deserved the color treatment because it is a great game.
Tron is a layout rehash (twice over) with a much less inspired ruleset and crappy theme comepared to the previous iterations.
Tron is a waste of the time and effort of making it color, but for sure that title has tons of fans boys and they love to mod so it is a no brainer.

Well, it is pretty uninspired...
Tron = hit X shot X times to start x mode. Do all the modes for super fun mode time. Go chop more wood while trying to get to super fun mode time and get to it once in a blue moon while being bored with the other modes which are all chopping wood in nature. ohhh pretty el wires... purdy shiney things.
Congo = choose your own adventure of fun. What do you feel like doing today? Kill some greys, MAP your way to cool stuff, explore the mines, hit a wide aray of shots as you collect diamond and progress to other cool modes at the same time, how about a sweet volcano ramp, oh you like 4 different video modes, and some crazy hidden crap you will see years into owning the game... Yeah, I think we know which game is better

yeah, the effort would be better spent on a cooler title if doing it for the sake of awesome pinball.
For the business decision, it seems people that own Tron also like to see how much crap they can put in the game so it is a no brainer for aftermarket sales.
Different stroks for different folks, but congo kills tron everyday. cOngo is so good the layput was copied by tron and they messed it up

would be a GENIUS move by both Stern and colorDMD.
They have dots, so I am not sure why Stern could not work in conjunction with Randy/Chris to make it happen? It would be a great partnership for both of them.
Everyone hoped GB would be full color, but the consolation of having colorDMD all done and ready to go upon the first show debut would be a great thing for both. Stern would sell even more games and obviously ColorDMD would sell even more displays.

there is a chance the dots are all done well in advance of the game release and the frames being coded in.
It will likely never happen, but that is moreso that the end of ColorDMD for new games is near if Stern does really go to LCD display on the next title.

also, whomever is doing congo, PLEASE dont use the standard pallet fo colors. Make your own pallet of colors that works better with the theme.

nah, pretty much every game ends up looking amazing with colorDMD.
Have they done NBAFB yet. Was playing one last night and realized it has some great animations.

We (some friends and I) mounted an LCD in a Big Bang Bar just to experiment with it. Turns out the LCD fits fine, but we had to re-loacate the ColorDMD board on some adhesive standoffs to be able to reach the buttons. Another bunch of guys engineered new mounting boards for all the capcom parts, but that's not an official ColorDMD product at this point.
TLDR: Randy has to tweak things for the signal to be 100% and the mounting is problematic.

Anyone know if there is an easy way to mount the LCD in the showcase backbox? or does it take modification?
I assume the LED mounts without mod, but I always prefer the LCD.
does anyone have details on how well these fit into the showcase heads?
I prefer LCD colorDMD but dont want to permanently alter the head.
I assume form the announcement that the LED colordmd is plug and play?
