My LCD install on x files wasn't too bad. Worked out well

Yes high res! I could install the original equipment dmd again I left enough wood to re attach anything if I want to change it back but I never will

Summary is you buy LED when LCD does not fit. When they both fit you get the choice of more modes in LCD.
LCD always fits mods required if you dare! LCD can mimic the led dot display both are good I prefer options so always LCD for me
