After thinking about Who Dunnit is looking like a strong possibility. Even has a slot machine. But they do seem to throw us some curve balls, Who Dunnit and Austin Powers might be too obvious. Gotta at least think Paul Williams = a Williams machine. Guess my money is one Who Dunnit for now.
Quoted from jaytrem:2nd clue is up on Facebook.
What's up pussycat?

Well knowing that the Kiss code is “supposed” to be dropping in a couple weeks that would be too obvious.....unless Color DMD has some cooperation with Stern to get a preview of any updated animations which need some help for sure.
Now if I remember correctly an early appearance of Kiss on Midnight Special there is a rainbow in the background of the set....so there is your rainbow connection.

Yeah, the Pink Panther makes me think of the Pink Panther movies which gets me to Who Dunnit.
Who Dunnit is a Bally tho, killing the Williams hint, and certainly isn’t rainbow colored, being pretty much a plain black cab.

I was wondering about that. Ipdb has it listed as a midway. It has a Williams mpu. Does that count? I guess we'll find out soon enough.
I don't know about anybody else, but once they merged, I just call them all Williams, even if they put the Bally tag on it.

Who Dunnit is from Williams, released with the Bally name.
Bally Manufacturing sold their Pinball division to Williams in 1988. Williams was allowed to use the Bally name on pinball games they released, as part of the deal.
It seems Williams alternated labeling their games "Bally" and "Williams" fairly evenly after that point.

Yeah. That way it didn't seem like it was just one company saturating the market. Though I'm not sure why that would be an important detail. But that's pretty much exactly what they did. Just alternate the branding.

I think the Bally name had quite a bit of value to players. Williams was wise to get that in the deal.
Bally Manufacturing had a history of spinning off separate companies with the Bally name (Bally Fitness, anyone?), so it didn't seem to be an issue with them.
Ironically, Williams and Bally Technologies (Manufacturing) were both bought earlier this decade by Scientific Games, and exist only as labels on SG machines.

Elton John, or The Who, didn't sing: "I thought I was the Williams table king."

You don't say??
I know y'all are holding out for WD? and hey, I love that game too, but if the hint IS "Williams" and the game is BRANDED Bally, then THAT is a poor hint.

I was just relaying some history. Don't have a WD nor care when it gets colorized.
I'd just like to see these games done. Complete the list before moving on. I don't own any of them but my OCD kills me every time I look at the list.
It's like "for gods sake just finish out the damn set and put it to bed already"!!!!
WILLIAMS/BALLY/MIDWAY (4 games)
Hurricane; NBA Fastbreak; Party Zone; WHO dunnit
DATA EAST (2 games)
Lethal Weapon 3 ;Maverick
And the ColorDMD site is even worse. They don't have a drop down option to see a list from manufacturers.

Not me - my Bally games are "Bally" games.

Pro-tip: Stop looking at the list.

The list is there to torment.

Aha, must be Jolly Park or Vernes World, they're not in the list!

Just get them done!!! That will save my sanity. LOL

I know, but we gotta give you a hard time. It's all part of the fun trying to guess. One thing for sure, everybody loves the product. You guys do great work!
Quoted from Tuna_Delight:Not me - my Bally games are "Bally" games.
If they are EATPM or later....they are Williams. Bally was just a label slapped on them.
Quoted from Cheeks:I have an LCD ColorDMD in AFM and it is not working. It was flickering a bit for about a week and now it's just out completely. I've tried re-seating the connectors to no avail. Anything else I can try?
Press the right menu button to view the color ROM version. Do you have an older ColorDMD and are you using v3.1?

If you are using the Chroma board, do you have v3.3 installed?

Check the power at the connectors to see if you have enough voltage. They might have dropped low.
Quoted from Medisinyl:Looks like Wheel of Fortune to me.
1)Rainbow
2)SPIN
Hadn't thought of the slot spin thing. The Hurricane does spin and obviously matches up with the Williams thing.
Quoted from ypurchn:When is the expected release date of the next pin?
Stern, JJP, Deeproot? Which pin?
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Stern, JJP, Deeproot? Which pin?
Next pin that colordmd is supporting
Quoted from Cheddar:Next clue hasn't been posted here yet but he is a Butler so definitely a Who Dunnit!
Seems like it.

See that's a good clue.
That Williams one was just bad tho.
