Quoted from PoMC:

Better be Baywatch and not Maverick or Frankenstein if they are finally getting around to including the large Sega DMDs.

Well, since Maverick was made under the Data East name and the clue shows "Sega", I think it is safe to assume that Maverick will not be the first release for the large DMD.

Wonder if they could do Flipper Football with these too.

Well, currently Capcom games are not fully supported with the Sigma firmware. Maybe eventually, but also there would be a power cable/power source needed.

It's gonna be another tricky hint and end up Ghostbusters.

Note that there's no game number. It's not so much a game specific hint as a "look, we're going to support large sega displays".

very cool!

Hope we see a LCD option also!

#2958 11 months ago

That's awesome.

Now I kinda want a Batman Forever.

#2959 11 months ago

This looks promising for half-height Color DMD'd down the road.

#2960 11 months ago

I'd love one of these for my BF, but that's the $$$

Isn't it about time for another set of hints?

Yup.

#2970 11 months ago

With TPF coming up, I sure hope there will be at least 2 releases around that time.

Currently, 2018 is off to a slow colorful start.

I'm going for just the label on the new hint here. Best of both worlds for Sega and Stern=Harley Davidson.

#2973 11 months ago

Tough one! An image search tells me that that's Jimmy Page (of Led Zeppelin) and Paul Rogers (of Bad Company) who worked together in a band called The Firm. The song "Best of Both Worlds" is by Van Halen (or Hannah Montana).

Maybe a music-themed game like Rolling Stones?
Maybe ColorDMD is going to rock us like a Hurricane?
Maybe "The Firm" is a cheeky hint at Baywatch?

Is there a game left on the list where two big-name designers collaborated?

Man am I hoping to see The Rolling Stones get done!

Rock you like a Hurricane is from the SCORPIONS? Though in that picture Paul Rogers looks like Klaus Meine...

Best of both worlds, It's Austin Powers!!! Finally.

you would think that this would be an easy one. I'm currently re-doing all of the graphics for a pinsider here that re-themed his RS as a No Doubt machine and I'm heading into the home stretch after only about a month's worth of part-time effort

Baywatch

Pinball + several video modes = Best of Both Worlds?

The question mark means not everyone agrees about video modes belonging in pinball.

New hint: GAME 71. FROM HALLS OF STEEL TO BALLS OF STEEL

#2983 11 months ago

David Hasselhoff performed concerts in Halls of Steel and is featured in the Baywatch pin.

The clues are coming quick! Here's #2.

Screen Shot 2018-02-19 at 2.04.00 PM (resized).png

A concert hall (albeit a Classical venue) - maybe pointing toward a music game? Kiss, Elvis or Rolling Stones?

BTW: "Halls of steel" = Carnegie Hall.

Halls of Steel = Carnegie Hall = Carnegie's Deli = Jewish = Israel = Gene Simmons
Two worlds = US and Israel.

It's KISS.

I'm still not seeing how this connects to kevin bacon

#2989 11 months ago

Halls of Steel = Carnegie Hall = New York Philharmonic = Dana Barrett who played Cello.

**** GHOSTBUSTERS CONFIRMED ****

#2990 11 months ago

Seeing the theater seats and "both worlds" makes me think Last Action Hero.

#2991 11 months ago

"How do you get to Carnegie hall? Practice!"

LAH for sure.

#2993 11 months ago

Steel Wheels = 1989 Rolling Stones album.

Clue #3 is up:

Tom Carnegie & "500 Miles" point pretty clearly towards Indy 500. Someone will have to explain to me how the first clue relates.
(maybe super group/supercharger?)

P.S. Thanks for getting that song lodged in my brain, dmod

#2995 11 months ago

ITS FINALLY FREAKING INDY 500!!!!!

#2996 11 months ago

No, because he walked 500 miles, and he would walk 500 more......thats a thousand.

Not Indy 500.

#2997 11 months ago

Damn, song stuck im my head now to.
Its not Hurricane!
