Quoted from epthegeek:Seriously, look at all the pink!
So then light blue and red with pink highlights.
Quoted from Irishbastard:What's the hold up with ST? If it's Mustang before ST I just don't get it....Hope that's a dam Klingon with a Gatling gun
Quoted from pinlawyer:Dammit! It is TF. Blech. BTW, the order of games isn't determined by Randy, so much as the collections of the people doing the colorizations. Plus, we all want TWD and Star Trek. That's no secret. But if updates are likely, as with ST (I think it's getting one more), it's going to have to wait.
Star Trek has some complicated animations that would be very difficult to colorize - for example, a spinner rip causes scores to display in random clusters on the DMD - so it's taking a while for them to figure out.
Also, code updates shouldn't be a factor - Metallica was colorized before its most recent programming update and ColorDMD simply updated their code to match. Most code updates don't add new animations anyway, just logic, scoring changes and sometimes sounds.
Quoted from lodgingdolphin:Looking like TF. Newest hint is
That is the Honey Nut Cheerios bee, so not TF. Thank goodness.
Quoted from GravitaR:That is the Honey Nut Cheerios bee, so not TF. Thank goodness.
I'm confused by the logic here. Is there a Honey Nut Cheerios game? I'm not sure how this disqualifies it from being TF.
Quoted from GravitaR:That is the Honey Nut Cheerios bee, so not TF. Thank goodness.
Could still be a hint for Bumblebee in TF though, right?
I'm always saying, "Transformers *be* the worst game ever". Therefore, Transformers.
(And also because of all the actual reasons.)
Quoted from Taxman:The playfield on Corvette has a honeycomb main section.
Star Trek also
Quoted from AirWolfNH:Sure looks like Transformers!!
Well that's at least two dozen sales...
As a Mustang owner as well as the above, I will triple moan.

Me too.
Quoted from phillymadison:GAME 53 COUNTDOWN STARTS NOW! 3!!!...
Looks like a Royal Rumble to me
But the picture is called A song of Ice and Fire from Game of Thrones so it could be GOT
The tower in the background looks ever so slightly like the tower in TWD, so I'm incorrectly guessing/hoping it's that.
Mind you, bit of a blood bath going on there.

Obviously a battle/ competition scene, obviously WCS!!!
Is it just me, or does anyone else think Stern made the DMD animations on ST & TWD more complex on purpose? They both seem to use the same style, updated from the previous left-side-scoring of TRON & IM etc.
It's almost as if they said, "let's cause the ColorDMD people some headaches with these two".
Thinking outside the box (for those of you who are locked into it being either TWD or GOT):
A reverse image search showed that this does, in fact, depict a scene from the Game of Thrones book series, showing Robert Baratheon vs Rhaegar Targaryen at the Battle of Trident.
The Baratheon Sigil is a stag - maybe indicating Big Buck Hunter?
"Trident" puts me in mind of a nautical theme like Baywatch or Sharkey's Shootout.
The knight on the right is about to make a punishing blow with his ax - maybe Striker Extreme?
Putting up a painting of Game of Thrones to tease the release of Game of Thrones isn't ColorDMD's style. I'm sure this won't make sense until the 2nd and 3rd clues are posted.
Three of the weapons shown are an Axe, Hammer and Sword and who knows maybe the guy on the right is about to get a multi kill
Quoted from dmbjunky:Have you ever seen a Sharkey's Shootout? That isn't nautical themed.
I know, it's a billiards theme. Again, thinking outside the box.
Obviously they're illustrating the randomness of fate in battle as you rise to fortune. Clearly Wheel of Fortune.
The guy is about to deal a crushing blow. The only thing that could be running through his mind is "Yeah Baby". So obviously Austin Powers.

Obviously! You know that would be a game that would look GREAT with ColorDMD...
Quoted from phillymadison:But the picture is called A song of Ice and Fire from Game of Thrones so it could be GOT
Would be awesome but its abit too straightforward to be a legit hint of got

I agree. My initial guess was and still is Royal Rumble. It wasn't until I image searched the picture and saw that it was from Game of Thrones that Got even entered my mind.

If it is that's another low-sales-potential release. I know they're bound somewhat by their colorists, but you'd think they'd try to balance the releases more with higher potential sales targets.

I disagree the Royal Rumble community is bigger than most think. It's not TZ or anything but WWFRR is loved my their owners. Wrestlemania is a different story lol. But it's just my guess and my guess doesn't make it confirmed by any means. But when you think about it what is left that's a high selling title that's code is complete enough? TWD only comes to mind.

Was my first and only thought as well. AP it is.

It's a low-dollar, low desirability pin. I don't think a large amount of people are going to drop $400 on it to get color. You have to think of the Color DMD as a percentage of machine value. The larger that percentage, the less likely the upgrade will be bought.
