Got red SM has a red plastic diffuser in front of dmd
Will the color dmd work or where can I buy a clear plastic?

Red will wash out the colors. You can just remove it for now and run without it. You can use the red diffuser as a template to make your own out of Lexan.

The red shield will filter the blue and green light, and only let the red light pass through. You'll need a clear one. As a temporary solution you can remove the shield and still mount the ColorDMD.
The shields in our store are only for Stern metal speaker panels.
If yours is a SM original with a wood panel, it's a different size. Pinbits sells clear display shields for both types.
