Not porcelain but... I purchased this 1970's laundry business sign yesterday over the phone. It's in the shape of a coat hanger, double sided and lit from inside. I haven't seen it in person yet but I think it's about 8 feet wide.

The story goes... my sisters well went dry so she's been doing her laundry outside the home now. She posted this photo on facebook a few weeks ago while she was waiting for her clothes to dry. I saw it and being a vintage sign lover, I had to have it. I called the business and asked if it was for sale. I left my info. The owner finally called me yesterday and sold it to me. Now, I just got figure out how to get it from Maine to Georgia! LOL.

For size reference, that's a cars front drivers side fender in the pic.

I have the perfect place to hang it in the media room.

I have a few signs in the garage that I haven't figured out where to hang yet. >

Quoted from Dayhuff:

Love love love that coat hanger. You HAVE to show both sides so keep it out from the wall a ways. Be sure to post pics when its up and lit.

My nephew picked it up tonight. It turns out to be much larger than I envisioned. And, that's fine.

A few more pics. It's a smallish Maine company so I doubt the sign is super valuable but it sure is unique!
