I'm gradually fixing a few minor issues on my recently acquired Bally Star Trek. I've also being playing it during repair breaks. It was never on my radar before, but it's actually quite a fun game. The initial plunge is particularly innovative as you can time rebounds to move a Bally letter so you get the right one before landing in the hole. Or you can aim directly for B and A.

However, there is IMO one serious imbalance: the fact that you can collect your whole bonus WITHOUT the bonus resetting. I can find no reference to a setting which prevents that. Did anyone ever make a home ROM for this which resets the bonus when you collect it on the "Hyperspace" switch?
