Actually what I meant was... for instance, is the "non ghosting" upgrade worth it for $20 on the TZ kit?

Well that depends, you didn't specify a game. I don't buy kits, I enjoy playing around and finding what pleases me. Large inserts get brighter LEDs. Super brights are a go-to for most inserts. CT has a host of GI options, but I generally prefer the domed 2 LED cool whites. Color match your insert flashers w/ the corresponding 906 or 89s, but remember that under domes you want the supers to illuminate every direction, not the flat 8s. Flex bases for where angled bulbs were, center the LED under the insert.

I like to accent under plastics here and there with frosted colors. Also if a raw bulb would be visible from a player's angle, frosted to prevent a distracting bright spot. I also make gradients where there is a line or group of white or yellow inserts. For example the Casino Run shot on my JB has an arrow then four orange/yellow inserts. from bottom to top I used orange (arrow), then superbright: white, yellow, orange, red. Looks sweet.

Backboxes get all kinds of treatment. Frosted, colored, brights here and there. I love to color match game titles to make the name pop. I also try to use a color changer if I can. My JB has a CC Flex Blink under the Bride's heart. Awesome effect. My WW has a Slow Fade under the weather dome atop the van.

Sure, you'll have leftovers. Sure, you'll make several orders per game (I'm sure the Marquettes hate this lol). But a tackle box full of LEDs is like a box of crayons. You'll have a head start on your next arrival.

As for non-ghosting, I use them situationally where there seems to be a problem. I don't order them en masse in anticipation.

    Hope this helps some.

While we're talking Cointaker, please lose the autoplay video with sound on the homepage. Super annoying. I don't think it's selling any more product. I'm already on the website, you don't have to advertise to me.

Agreed. I can't click "buy LEDs" quick enough. That's a LOUD animation.
