send me it. Can try it.. The red or yellow of the button will wash out the color but worth a shot.. It'll essential have to be a greyscale image which doesnt stand out as much as the 1 color... send me a pm with links to images or i'll give you my email address

does it have an insert that slides out?

#54 11 years ago

Black and white is ok, I just wanted to do those characters for the coin slots.
I think the Gollum picture I already edited a copy and was able to get a print that would work, but was not able to format it to the right size.

High Speed: I actually found grey scale pictures to work out better, but here's the color version if you want to try it.

I just came across this thread-great stuff. Do you use a special transparent paper or what kind of paper is best to use-regular color printing paper or what-Thanks in advance.

I have heard it is as easy as using a standard 20# white paper and a lazer printer. The standard white is thin enough to allow the light through where you want it, and the black inked areas block what you don't.

How about Avengers Hulk?

Transparency isn't good because those coin reject buttons have plenty of other physical features behind that insert. It just doesn't look good.

For opacity, use photo paper. Or just layer 3 copies, which is what I do.

I'm struggling to remove the paper insert as seems stuck in and no easy to access or take the yellow reject assembly apart further. Sure missing something obvious but appreciate any advice on how to do this.

Greg:

Blow into the smaller slot opposite the large slot and it will fly out.

#85 9 years ago

Many thanks

Unfortunately tried that and no joy. The slot between the two yellow plastic bits is very thin and can't even get a credit card in there. Wonder if the UK one is different?

#86 9 years ago

I used an xacto knife and I got it out with no problems

#87 9 years ago

Awesome, many thanks. Knife was the answer

Digging up this old thread. My Mata Hari coin door mod. Camera makes the bulbs look like they have hot spots, but it looks better in person.
