Sometimes you can get quarter mech lots cheap on Ebay, or elsewhere, so you can save some money by modifying them to take your tokens.

    Quoted from ryan1234:

Has anyone tried 1.125 diameter tokens?

You'd have to replace or modify the slots and chutes on all your machines to use tokens that large. Most people probably don't want to deal with that, especially if they have a lot of games.

The largest token you can get away with without enlarging the slots and chutes is probably the QST (.984" quarter size tokens), although they are slightly larger than a quarter, and some games may need slight slot or chute enlargement to pass the token.

The QSTs also work in pachislo slots, and are the size Chuck-E-Cheese uses.
