My laser cue coin door has some bare spots. I am at the point where Im behind on other projects and really don't want to take the thing off and spray it. It is a players condition.

Question: Using a marker to touch up: Oil based or acrylic, or other comments?

Thank you all.

Only way to do it is to paint the whole door - don’t waste your time or it will stand out like crazy.

It doesn’t take long to take a door off and although it is not the right way to just tape off pieces (better to disassemble it) and paint it you will be happier.

Spray door, frame, assorted bezels & flaps with Rustoleum flat black spray paint, then spatter paint with Rustoleum semi-gloss black spray paint. Chill can in fridge so paint thickens and sprays a little "globbier" to replicate the factory spatter.

If your door is good overall except for a few spots, touch them up with Rustoleum semi-gloss black can and a brush, and while the paint is tacky, dab it with your finger wrapped in a clean rag to knock down the gloss finish and blend with the surrounding area. I did this method to touch up a few small scratched areas on an otherwise perfect Pinbot door, and the whole thing look brand new.
