The coin door on my Firepower is in relatively good shape. It shows no signs of rust or scratches making this coin door a candidate for being something really beautiful after restoration! My only issue is that the coin door is bent inwards slightly, it's not bad! But I like to get games near perfect... looks like some idiot karate kicked the game because they sucked! Hate the player not the game... anyway, are there any known methods to flatten this type of coin door out? Thanks!

    Quoted from MMGB:

Crawl inside and karate kick it from the opposite direction!

    Hahah! Good one!

Thanks to everyone! Do you all recommend I use a rubber mallet?

    Quoted from SUPERBEE:

Also, make sure power is on so you can properly see.

Hahah the power on just adds to the fun

It appears to be kicked in, I believe I need to strip the coin door down and experiment with a rubber mallet. Shouldn't be too hard haha

Never got around to doing it unfortunately. I recommend taking everything off of the coin door (take as many picture as needed to ensure everything gets placed back on properly), lay the door on some carpet, and carefully tap the door back to being flat using a runner mallet. Hope this helps!
