There's 3 screws that hold the back plastic housings for the reject buttons. Once those are out it should come off, maybe the stuff that looks like glue is old spilled soda holding them on. Or someone actually glued it for some reason. Got a pic?

Glad to hear. It's amazing what soda does to ruin things on a pinball machine, yet we drink it every day lol.
