Early 70's Gottlieb..........

I assume
#1 coin chute is on the left (main coin chute)?
#2 coin chute is on the right? (middle if 3 chutes)
and if there was a #3 coin chute, it would be on the right
Is this correct?

Or..........is what I am looking at #1 and #3 with #2 omitted?

The assumption is the hinge is on the left side as you face the machine and an electromechanical machine.

Coin chute # 1 is the far left (nickles).

Coin chute # 2 is the middle (dimes).

Coin cute # 3 is the far right (quarters).

On a twin chute Gottlieb door you pictured, the right hand coin chute also has wires paralleling the right coin switch to the left coin switch. In essence, you've got two quarter coin switches that way. Pricing is adjusted by the "3rd Chute Adjust" connector on the bottom relay panel.

yea you can see the dummy plug on your door where the middle chute could be. In the 70's they got away from nickels pretty quick
