I'm working on a 1965 Williams Bowl-A-Strike. I went thru all coils and found a few that need replacement. I started with the chime relay that was shorted. I then moved to the lock relay, which was measuring low resistance compared to charts online and looked partially burned up. The game would play mostly after I replaced the chime unit.

But, when I replaced the lock relay, I have a new issue that popped up. I now get a green arc across one switch on the coin relay bank, which fires after the lock relay when I push the start button (simulates coin insert). The coin relay is a Williams Z35-4200 coil. I cannot find the resistance on any lists, so when I keep getting 215 ohms using DMM, I think something is wrong. However, I have a project 1961 Williams Ten Spot with that same relay and I'm getting a similar resistance. So maybe it's fine.

Not sure what to do. Any ideas?

Those are high resistance coils, nothing unusual. Clean and gap the arcing switch, might improve things. Does that switch carry line voltage?

One on that chart is close:

A-26452 GOTTLIEB SPECIAL 137R 35 2450

4200/2450*137 = 235‎Ω

The coin relay on my 1964 Williams Heat Wave fires the relay bank reset monster 110V coil.
