How much variance in coil ohm reading is acceptable? A spec of 32 ohm resistance is called for, but the replacement, same coil number reads 35 ohms.
Thats nearly 10 percent. This is Gottlieb EM hold relay. Should I just go with it?

On a hold relay of that much resistance, I don't see that it would make much difference. I'd use it.

A tolerance of 10% is pretty common in resistances. An actual resistor with no tolerance band would be 20%!

Yep, a few ohms is perfectly acceptable.

Thx for the consensus. Will go with it.
