    Does anyone know if someone in the US sells coil bobbins?

    Mr Pinball has them down under:

    but it seems silly to ship plastic spools half way across the planet

    Try emailing PBR or Planetary. Neither will likely sell you a lot, but if you just need a few, they may be able to help.

    APB_Enterprises makes coils. He might be able to direct you to a seller or possibly be able to sell to you. Or, possibly make a coil for you if you need it.
