Quoted from NightTrain:Anyone have a suggestion for what type of LED to use for the Sandman and Venom modes on the back board? I don't want anything too blinding, but still want it to look nice.
I used color matching incadestants blue and yellow. They are non blinding and look great.
Quoted from NightTrain:Is the rest of your game LED? Mine is and I kind of want to keep it that way. Maybe it doesn't matter....
Yes my entire pin is Led except those ones. I can send many more pics if you like or shoot a little video for you. My Gi is Comet Frosted comfort bright in cool white all inserts are colormatched non ghosting frosted from comet. My previous Spiderman was done up in cointakers and looked just as good. Both companies are excellent and there customer service is second to none. Hope this helps

Not sure it fits the movie theme version, the appeal to me is Toby Maguire and the rest of the actors on this pin I feel like im playing these three movies. For vault edition I feel like im in a comic like you should be. Stern did a great job on keeping the same layout but you get two completely different adventures. In my opinion this will always be a top 5 pin, either version.
Quoted from embryon:Is it a pain to swap out the coin inserts?
Not at all its four screws to remove the coin reject bezel less than 5 mins and your done. Aurich made quit a few different coin symbols. Just do a search.

Sorry to see you leave the club but happy someone new will be joining. I left the club twice before realizing this is a top 2 pin for me.
Just when I thought my pimped spidy was done, I found a Matt Mckee topper and Big Laws three lighted figures! At least my son and I got to put a few hours playing before removing the figures to be modded. I will post pics when completed.

Check the opto boards for cold soldier joints and make sure they have a good tight connection. Ive had these fail in several sam system pins and its the first thing i would check.

Quoted from Utesichiban:Can anyone tell me what type of led’s I should order for the back part of SM for the 3 blue Venom lights and 3 Sandman lights (bayonet or standard type -
Heres a pic of mine with the color incandescents and frosted cool whites.
Hate to be obvious but make sure all screws are seated and tighten down all the way. They are very small and a pita.
Quoted from Flippermatt:Sm topper tips anyone?
Matt Mckee Topper best there is. My humble opinion of course

I’m very interested in adding a set. Name your price!
Message me.

These came from pinbits. I believe they are no longer in business however I hope someone else starts making them I would reach out to Terry at pinballife.

Cracked left ramp, make sure you get the extended cliffy on the ramp if it don’t have one. Also make sure both sandman and doc ock motors are working correctly. Sandman plastic is also usually broke. Very solid pin by stern.
