Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Gottlieb, 1978Greetings! - I recently shopped my Close Encounters SS, replacing the rubber, bumpers, flippers, and posts. Upon re-assembly, I discovered that two of the plastic posts are taller (1-3/16") than the other posts. The manual does not identify where these 1-3/16" posts are located. Does anyone know where they should be placed?

It's been a while since I shopped a CE, but I think it may have been the lane guide on the right side about a third of the way up the playfield. There's a stand-up switch there, and I think a little extra height was needed to accommodate it. But, the few shop out photos I had weren't clear enough to say for certain.
