I just ordered a bunch of remote holders myself after my newest purchase. 4 old school battery double a styles makes me nervous. Especially after seeing threads like this!

So disappointed. I just visited my local Radio Shack and they don't carry remote 3 AA battery holders anymore... They keep in stock 2 and 4 but not 3. I guess technology has really shifted in the last 20 years or so eh?
Thanks for the advice and pics. I just ordered a bunch of junk to get Big Guns up and running hopefully in time for the 4th. I paid the retailers price on 1 remote holder, I will definitely try some of the links you all provided before I shell out $10+ for my other 3 machines that take AA batteries.
