    Just got this... https://www.pinballlife.com/williamsbally-shooter-eject-protector.html

It didn't come with a piece for the right side of the lane. Is that not needed? Or is it a different piece?

    Thank you

That's another separate piece. You can get the one you got plus one that goes under the rail on the right hand side plus one that goes on the rail on the right hand side for a total of three.

Ask Cliff, he will know. My GNR had both sides.

Is that an actual Cliffy, or a copy (rip-off) of Cliffy’s design?

    Probably a rip off?

I ordered the full set from cliff for my AFMr, but it wont be here for a few weeks. Based on the pics on his site his set doesn't include the piece for the right side either... Is the idea that the ball bounces off the rail (which already is protected by metal) and then hits the left side? so you dont need the right side (under the rail). wouldn't this cause the ball to rest off center in the shooter lane?

Pinballlife carries Cliffy's. Can't imagine they would stock his stuff and a ripoff.

Some years ago I was getting cliffies for a game and he had mentioned they had knock offs....Maybe they worked out a deal to distribute genuine cliffy's now...which I do see some on their site.

Seems like the genuine cliffy parts have "cliffy" in the part # which this does not?

Bottom line... If you're looking for Cliffy Protectors, you can be sure and get the originals at passionforpinball.com
