This is not a surprise....Stern, CGC (MB), and JJP (with DI) both have tried to make their own protectors, and they are horrible. Their all too cheap to actually purchase directly from Cliff whose product is far superior...

Trust me its a cost issue....yes Cliff has some long lead times (although he's always been quick on my end), but he had a good plan to scale, but the manufacturers were too cheap so they went in another direction....

I've never understood why manufacturers don't install these protectors at the factory, because some are a complete pain in the ass to install. Also the OP should change the title as its very misleading
He's the best and has always put up with me stopping by his house and picking up my protectors (on short notice)....I'd never buy protectors from anyone else

He had a plan to do so, but the manufacturers were too cheap to pay for his protectors...which isn't a surprise ....are you saying Stern pumps out 20K games a year?

Not to be critical, but capacity is very different than actual builds....my bet is they build half that many, which is a lot more than anyone else....that being said Stern, and JJP are Waaaaayyyy too cheap to actually pay Cliff for quality protectors.....Cliff is better off doing what he's doing
