Cliff: just wondering what you've got planned for ACDC?
Please color me in for one of everything.
TIA.
Apparently the LE's have ramp protectors already which I would imagine should fit the pro versions as well. I cannot be sure of that though. The BIBLE I looked at (PAGG) has 3 small scoops of a sort. They will need protection but it looked like one of my simple clip-on edge type protectors will work on them. Now I just need a playfield to work from I have another route I'll probably take too so, not to worry, I hope to have something soon.
Quoted from BLACK_ROSE:My Prem- has Metal Wrappings ( Protector's ) on Each side on Both Ramp's .. Wanna Pict- ?
Please do.
Quoted from jalpert:I'm not sure what needs to be protected. Ramps maybe.
Also the shooter lane--applies to every game of course, but particularly Sterns (with that screening that's a disaster waiting to happen).
True. I think I'm just going to put down some mylar though. It can't really affect play being in the shooter lane

We need something to protect those bulbs behind the bolts! I tried putting in LED's, but they just keep popping out.

Tweak the bolts forward. I wish someone would cut lexan so we can change out the metal. The orginal game i played back in January had flashing bolts it was cool. We need to go back to that.

Maybe try hot gluing them in the meantime, till something more permanent is figured out.
Perhaps glue from the backbox side to keep it out of sight if the bolt won't cover it up.
Quoted from AkumaZeto:WOW i need some. Cliff......Pro people are gonna want these. I shudder to think of mine cracking
Well like I said the ramp protectors you see in those pics are made by Stern themselves so you should be able to get them through normal channels.
Sterns stance lately has been if its for a le you gotta have one to get ANYTHING from it. Premium too.

That's always been there position. However, they do haveto stock parts for LE's (ramp protectors) at parts distributors so no reason you couldn't buy a set from any authorized stern parts distrib
Where *I* come in is if they do not fit the Pro ramps due to a different ramp design. THEN I'll step up and make them. And probably make them better

I don't doubt that. Got my first protector mid last week for my sttng neutral zone and it was a perfect snap in fit and looked great with the brushed stainless steel.
You have me sold for all my pins. No need for unnecessary wear.
Both ramps on mine broke due to lack of protectors. The left ramp left side broke off first very similar to picture above, and then the right ramp right side a few months later.
Quoted from HighProtein:Where can I order the ramp protectors for Mine?
From your distributor. Part numbers are in the premium manual.
Quoted from fish1975tx:Both ramps on mine broke due to lack of protectors.
The later run pros got all four. And metal backing for the lightning bolts.
