Got my Jukebox protector installed today. Works like a charm.
Thanks Cliffy.
However the three screws that you have to remove are installed from the factory with locktite and require a good fit with the nut driver to remove. I tried the method of just removing the jukebox plastic cover to raise the yellow plastic a bit but the back wall was still in my way to get a good grip to remove the three screws.
So here is what I did if it helps anybody else.

First lift the playfield out and pull forward so it rest on its brackets.

The first photo shows the first three screws to remove. This will remove the ball gate and allow you to be able to flex the yellow plastic up enough to get a nut driver in place.

The second photo shows the two screws on the right ramp you will need to remove so the backboard will remove all the way off. They hold the band and a light cable in place.
The light cable just has one molex plug to unhook.

The third photo shows two of the four screws holding the backboard in place. Once these screws are removed the backboard just lifts up and out so that it is very easy to work in this area now.
The backboard just rest in an L bracket, so it is very easy to put back in place.

The fourth photo just shows the backboard laying comfortably in the bottom of my cabinet with the two areas that were screwed to the right ramp.

The fifth photo shows the all important three screws that must be removed to install the protector.

And last is the protector now in place and doing its job.

Quoted from McCune:

The bell hole is where you need the protection ! Yours is showing wear . Good write up !

Thanks. I will probably do the bell in the future.
I hardly ever make that shot though.

These cliffys are great. It is a more difficult install job on Ac/Dc. Nice pictures here from the OP!
michael

Thanks.
I tried to make it as easy as I could to follow without being overwhelming.
